With that in mind, the fans wonder what happened to the pair after they left one of the\u00a0best reality TV shows\u00a0and returned to the real world.<\/p>\n<p>When Liz and Austin entered\u00a0the\u00a0<em>Big Brother 17<\/em>\u00a0house, they found an instant connection, but it was initially just as friends. This was partly because Liz played the game with her twin, Julia. The twins took turns going in and out of the house for a few weeks, confusing Austin as to why they sometimes had a deeper connection and other times didn&#8217;t. Initially, the pair started as friends, but Austin grew a strong liking towards Liz. While they won&#8217;t appear on <em>Big Brother<\/em>\u00a0season 26, there&#8217;s still curiosity about the couple.<\/p>\n<p>After spending a lot of time with Austin, a reluctant Liz also starts to develop feelings for him. So, over time, the pair decided to make their relationship official. Austin was evicted on day 89 during a shocking elimination. He landed in fifth place and went on to become a jury member. On the other hand, Liz made it to the final two and finished as the runner-up. According to\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytvworld.com\/news\/big-brother-couple-liz-nolan-and-austin-matelson-call-it-quits-and-split-19294.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reality TV World<\/a><\/em>, once outside the house, Austin and Liz continued to date for a few months and even met each other&#8217;s families.<strong>\u00a0Liz planned to move from Miami to Los Angeles to be closer to her then-boyfriend<\/strong>. However, the pair ultimately split.<\/p>\n<p>A few years after this public breakup, Liz went on to compete in\u00a0<em>The Challenge: War Of The Worlds<\/em>\u00a0with her twin sister Julia. Liz was the first person eliminated from the competition during the purge, and the fans have not seen her or Julia return to\u00a0<em>The Challenge<\/em>\u00a0since then.\u00a0<strong>That said,\u00a0<em>The Challenge<\/em>\u00a0is known for bringing back past contestants all the time, so there&#8217;s always a possibility that the twin sisters from\u00a0<em>BB17<\/em>\u00a0could return to compete on the show<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the pair decided to split, it doesn&#8217;t mean that they stopped having some love for each other. The former couple reportedly stayed friends even after the split, but it is unknown whether these\u00a0<em><strong>Big Brother<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0stars have remained close friends until today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Want more?
