Host <strong>Julie Chen Moonves<\/strong>\u00a0teased the news at the end of the September 7 live hour, <a href=\"https:\/\/naijas.com\/bbusa\/find-out-what-happened-on-the-night-of-thursday-september-7-on-big-brother-25\/7227\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">following the eviction of\u00a0<strong>Red Utley<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/naijas.com\/bbusa\/big-brother-25-spoilers-week-6-hoh-comp-winner\/7233\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the crowning of\u00a0<strong>Cameron Hardin<\/strong> as the new Head of Household for week 6<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ll have a big announcement for the houseguests that will affect this year\u2019s jury,\u201d she said ominously. Remember, kids, this is \u201cBig Brother,\u201d where the motto is \u201cexpect the unexpected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Julie, aka\u00a0<strong>Blue Kim<\/strong>\u2018s fellow \u201cDenim Diva,\u201d has hosted \u201cBig Brother\u201d since Season 1 in 2000. She appears in every live episode to oversee the eviction, interview the eliminated contestant and host the HOH competition (when there is one). The jury, which was first created in Season 2, consists of recent voted-out players who collectively decide which of the Final 2 houseguests should win the grand prize money.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBig Brother 25\u201d fans on<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BB_Updates\/status\/1699965943454314565\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a><\/strong> are already theorizing what the big twist could be, with a popular guess being that this season\u2019s jury will be reverted back to seven members, as it was in the early years. The more recent seasons have included a whopping nine jurors. And what if Julie drops a bombshell that America (the country, not the person) will get to have a vote on the jury?<\/p>\n<p>Another strong possibility is the return of the \u201cBattle Back\u201d competition, where jurors compete to re-enter the game as a full-fledged player. Or perhaps, for the first time ever, Julie could be about to reveal that \u201cBig Brother\u201d will have a Final 3 (like \u201cSurvivor\u201d) this year, instead of a Final 2.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite suggestion by far is that there won\u2019t be a jury house this summer, and that evicted players will live in the regular \u201cBig Brother\u201d house where they can see and hear everything in real time. They simply wouldn\u2019t be eligible to play in competitions or cast votes, etc. Imagine the drama that would ensue when the person just voted out strolls right back into the house!<\/p>\n<p>As of this writing, just 12 people remain in the running to win the $750,000 grand prize:\u00a0<strong>America Lopez<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Blue Kim<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Bowie Jane<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Cameron Hardin<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Cory Wurtenberger<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Felicia Cannon<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Izzy Gleicher<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jag Bains<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jared Fields<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Matt Klotz<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mecole Hayes<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Cirie Fields<\/strong>.
