Heading into the second episode of \u201cBig Brother\u201d season 26 premiere, there were still eight players yet to move in to the house. Well, on Night 2 of the premiere, audiences finally got to meet Brooklyn Rivera<\/strong>,\u00a0Cedric Hodges<\/strong>,\u00a0Kenney Kelley<\/strong>,\u00a0Leah Peters<\/strong>,\u00a0Lisa Weintraub<\/strong>,\u00a0Matt Hardeman<\/strong>,\u00a0Quinn Martin<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0T\u2019kor Clottey<\/strong>. Better late than never! So how did everything go down with this second group of contestants? And how did they react to meeting Ainsley the AI bot?<\/p>\n

Below, read our minute-by-minute\u2018Big Brother\u2019 season 26 premiere, Episode 2 recap to find out what happened on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET\/PT. 9:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Just like last night, this episode is delayed on the West Coast due to the Republican National Convention. It will begin soon \u2026.<\/p>\n

10:14 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 \u201cPreviously on \u2018Big Brother\u2019!\u201d In the\u00a0first episode<\/strong><\/a>, Julie welcomed the first group of eight houseguests to the game:\u00a0Angela Murray<\/strong>,\u00a0Cam Sullivan-Brown<\/strong>,\u00a0Chelsie Baham<\/strong>,\u00a0Joseph Rodriguez<\/strong>,\u00a0Kimo Apaka<\/strong>,\u00a0Makensy Manbeck<\/strong>,\u00a0Rubina Bernabe<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Tucker Des Lauriers<\/strong>. They were immediately given their first challenge from Ainsley (aka the Artificial Intelligence Network Self Learning Entity). If the players voted \u201cyes\u201d to bring her into the house, they got to play in an \u201cupgrade competition\u201d to potentially win a power. If they voted \u201cno\u201d to her dream of becoming a contestant, they had to play in a \u201cdowngrade competition\u201d where the loser would be punished. Makensy won the upgrade, while Chelsie received the downgrade.<\/p>\n

10:16 p.m<\/strong>. \u2014 Julie welcomes the audience to Part 2 of the premiere. She claims that we will all \u201chave the pleasure\u201d of watching the newbies meet Ainsley, knowing what\u2019s about to happen.<\/p>\n

10:17 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Quinn is a nurse recruiter from Nebraska, and his wild hair is the thing most people notice first about him. He\u2019s a former school band member and a soccer player, and broke a world record for standing on one leg while blindfolded. The 5\u20196\u2033 athlete is a \u201csuperfan\u201d of \u201cBB\u201d with his own cut-out version of Zingbot at home.<\/p>\n

10:18 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Brooklyn is a \u201cspicy cupcake,\u201d according to her husband. The former Mrs. Texas and former Mrs. America claims that \u201cwinning\u201d is her favorite part of any competition. She used to live in poverty, but now she has three \u201ckiddos\u201d at home and she wants to \u201cbet\u201d on herself to win because, \u201cWe don\u2019t shoot for second.\u201d<\/p>\n

10:19 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Matt is from Georgia and considers himself an \u201curban cowboy.\u201d His family is \u201ceverything\u201d to him, especially since he comes from a mixed family. He calls himself a \u201csouthern gentleman\u201d and is willing to look for a showmance partner in the house. He is also \u201cextremely competitive.\u201d<\/p>\n

10:20 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lisa is from Los Angeles and has her own catering company that she utilizes as a celebrity chef. \u201cVibe curator\u201d is a term she coined for herself. She\u2019s going to cook and \u201chost the party\u201d inside the \u201cBig Brother\u201d house in order to meet allies.<\/p>\n

10:21 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Leah is from Florida and is a VIP cocktail waitress, always loving the \u201cMiami life.\u201d She grew up in a poor family, which gave her the \u201cdrive and ambition\u201d she has now. She has her own underwear company and now lives in a nice house. She\u2019s a self-proclaimed \u201cchubby chaser\u201d \u2014 interesting.<\/p>\n

10:22 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Cedric is from Idaho and is a former Marine, but he can\u2019t talk too much about that aspect of his life. His grandmother raised him and is still his \u201cbest friend.\u201d His nickname is \u201cplayboy\u201d because of all of his former girlfriends. He\u2019s also a big sports guy.<\/p>\n

10:23 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 T\u2019Kor is a small business owner from Georgia, and she crochets her own clothing. She has been featured on the \u201cKelly Clarkson Show\u201d and even met\u00a0Michelle Obama<\/strong>, who complimented her clothes. She\u2019s the \u201cqueen of the nerds,\u201d having been on her school\u2019s debate team.<\/p>\n

10:24 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Kenney worked in the DEA as an undercover cop, and focuses his attention on addiction counseling in his everyday life. He has a wife and two kids, and has no interest in telling anyone that he\u2019s a police officer. Instead, he\u2019s going to be everybody\u2019s best friend.<\/p>\n

10:26 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 The first four players to enter the house are Quinn, T\u2019Kor, Matt and Leah. Quinn has been \u201cdreaming\u201d of playing the game since he was in elementary school. He\u2019s so excited he might \u201cthrow up.\u201d Leah thinks that Matt is giving \u201cPrince Charming\u201d vibes, but worries that he may not be chubby enough for her. Matt knows he has a \u201ctarget\u201d on his back and hopes to show everyone that he\u2019s \u201csweet,\u201d before stabbing them in the back. T\u2019Kor feels like she\u2019s been \u201cteleported\u201d back to high school with the various archetypes she\u2019s playing against.<\/p>\n

10:29 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Cedric, Lisa, Kenney and Brooklyn enter the house next. Kenney is ready to be the \u201cdad figure\u201d to build trust with his fellow players. Cedric immediately likes Kenney and suspects he\u2019s been in the police force \u2014 wow, that was fast! Brooklyn thinks the weird decor could be a \u201cholographic machine,\u201d and she doesn\u2019t know how close she actually is. Commercial time!<\/p>\n

10:34 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Outside, it\u2019s the same set-up as the previous night. The eight players are about to be tested by Ainsley the AI bot, with those voting \u201cyes\u201d to bring her into the game getting the option of an upgrade, and those voting \u201cno\u201d to her dreams having to compete to not be downgraded. Cedric thinks of her as an \u201casset\u201d because of their surfing similarities. Leah says if it\u2019s \u201cmeant to be\u201d then it will be. Matt is suspicious of her \u201ctinfoil\u201d clothing. Leah thinks she could be a \u201cthreat\u201d to her game. The votes are locked.<\/p>\n

10:42 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 The vote is only 2-6, with Ainsley\u2019s dreams being truly \u201ccrushed,\u201d claims Julie. Ainsley then transforms into the artificial intelligence bot, shocking the eight players. This time around, the \u201cupgrade competition\u201d requires the houseguests to remove chips from the wall and input them into the motherboard, all while the entire set is rotating around. In the \u201cdowngrade competition,\u201d the contestants much transfer three discs into receptacles using only their faces.<\/p>\n
