The wait is almost over \u2014 Big Brother is officially returning to CBS in just a few days! Season 27 is set to kick off with the houseguests already in seclusion as they prepare to begin the ultimate social and strategic competition.<\/p>\n

CBS recently dropped new details about the upcoming season, and here’s everything you need to know.<\/p>\n

Premiere Date & Episode Schedule<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Big Brother Season 27 premieres Thursday, July 10 with a 90-minute special episode, introducing a brand-new group of houseguests. The season continues with another extended 90-minute episode on Sunday, July 13.<\/p>\n

This summer, CBS is dialing things up by airing supersized 90-minute episodes every Wednesday night \u2014 a first for the show. Sunday and Thursday episodes will remain at their regular one-hour runtime (except for the premiere).<\/p>\n

Longtime host Julie Chen Moonves will once again return to guide the season.<\/p>\n

Introducing: Big Brother: Unlocked<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In a new twist, CBS is launching a companion series titled Big Brother: Unlocked, set to air on select Friday nights throughout the summer.<\/p>\n

Kicking off on Friday, July 25, the new series will spotlight three Big Brother All-Stars as they break down exclusive footage not shown on the main broadcasts. Expect never-before-seen clips, exclusive interviews, guest appearances, and behind-the-scenes access like never before.<\/p>\n

Big Brother: Unlocked will air every other Friday, with additional episodes scheduled for August 8 and 22, and September 5, 19, and 26.<\/p>\n

What Else to Expect<\/strong><\/h4>\n

CBS has confirmed that Season 27 will feature an all-new cast of houseguests \u2014 no returning players this time around. They\u00a0 haven’t yet revealed the season\u2019s official theme or full cast list.<\/p>\n

With new faces, longer episodes, and a behind-the-scenes spin-off, Big Brother Season 27 is shaping up to be a summer TV event you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n
