As of the September 11 episode, Head of Household (HOH) Chelsie Baham had nominated Angela Murray and Kimo Apaka for eviction. However, Makensy Manbeck won the Power of Veto, and she and Chelsie were considering using it to save Angela to nominate either Quinn Martin or Leah Peters for eviction.<\/p>\n<p>In an X post,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JCMoonves\/status\/1834290328616009968\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><em>Julie<\/em><\/a>\u00a0shared the news that she won&#8217;t be appearing in the September 12 eviction episode.\u00a0<strong><em>The Talk<\/em>\u00a0co-host Jerry O&#8217;Connell will fill in for her as another\u00a0<em>Big Brother 26<\/em>\u00a0houseguest is evicted<\/strong>. Julie wrote,\u00a0<em>&#8220;Friday morning I woke up with a sore throat and went to see my good friend who is an ENT. That night he called to say I have Covid. Thankfully this is only the second time for me and it&#8217;s been very mild! No fever and just a sore throat.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-theme=\"dark\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"qme\">\ud83d\udc99\ud83e\udd16 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BB26?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BB26<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/m4SJlOL4EZ\">pic.twitter.com\/m4SJlOL4EZ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Julie Chen Moonves (@JCMoonves) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JCMoonves\/status\/1834290328616009968?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 12, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Julie went on to say that, unfortunately,\u00a0<strong>she was still testing positive as of Thursday morning<\/strong>. She said,\u00a0<em>&#8220;despite feeling good, strong and my cough being gone, I must sit tonight&#8217;s Big Brother live eviction show out.&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0Julie then thanked Jerry for filling in for her. She joked,\u00a0<em>&#8220;I hope Jerry fits in to my dress, has a ball and tells the houseguests I miss them but will be watching from home.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>Julie concluded her post by saying,\u00a0<em>&#8220;See? Chenbot is human after all! Love one another and enjoy tonight&#8217;s show.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While Jerry will most likely do a great job as host,\u00a0the\u00a0<em>Big Brother 26<\/em>\u00a0houseguests\u00a0are used to seeing Julie every week. They look forward to chatting with her and checking in with her when they cast their votes. They&#8217;ll surely be sad that she&#8217;s under the weather.
