The BBNaija 10 house descended into chaos on Thursday night after a disagreement between housemates Zita and Rooboy spiraled into a physical altercation following a team task.
The clash began during Team Pineapple’s game session when Zita accused Rooboy of disrupting her group’s performance. She accused him of “blowing things out of proportion” and failing to handle situations properly.
Rooboy pushed back, saying he had already apologised to the team. Turning to his fellow housemates, he asked for confirmation:
“Sultana, Mensan, I no apologise to una?”
Zita, however, rejected his defense, insisting that he never offered her a direct apology. Housemate Kola attempted to mediate, suggesting Rooboy’s apology may have been general and not directed at Zita personally.
The exchange quickly escalated into insults, with Rooboy calling Zita “stupid.” She fired back, “You’re also very stupid, dumb ass man.” The shouting match intensified, with Zita warning him not to push her further.
When Rooboy taunted, “If I piss you off, what are you going to do?” Zita reacted by throwing a plate of Indomie noodles at him. Rooboy retaliated by striking her, leaving the other housemates in shock.
Housemate Isabella immediately confronted Zita, questioning why she provoked the situation by throwing food.
The confrontation, which involved both physical aggression and objects being hurled, is expected to trigger disciplinary action from the show’s organisers. Big Brother Naija, like other versions of the franchise worldwide, enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy on physical violence or actions that endanger fellow housemates.
