BBNaija 10 housemate, Imisi, has shared a deeply emotional story from her past during a task where housemates were asked to open up about personal experiences following the Head of House challenge.
Speaking with teammates Koyin, Jason Jae, Sultana, and Mide, Imisi revealed that at the age of 12 she went through a traumatic ordeal that has continued to affect her into adulthood.
She explained that after being sent away from home, she found temporary shelter with someone who later abandoned her at a church. Left alone in a dark storeroom, she became a victim of abuse.
Her struggles did not end there. The following day, she endured the experience again and soon after discovered she was pregnant at just 13 years old. She revealed that she had to terminate the pregnancy.
Imisi admitted that the painful events left long-lasting scars and shaped how she navigates life today. “That experience traumatizes me to this day. I cannot be left alone in a dark place,” she said.
